Something New

I have often read blogs posted by friends and thought they are so talented to express themselves in writing and how brave they are to share their personal thoughts.  I didn’t ever see myself as that person nor did I think I had anything worth sharing.  However, I have been prompted by several individuals over the past few weeks to write a book or start a blog about all the things my husband and I have been through.  So, after letting my creative juices flow, I have determined to try this new world of blogging.

The name of our blog came from a dear friend who first encouraged me to start this.  While visiting my husband during a recent hospital stay he came up with name Morphie for Steve as this was the drug of choice at that time.  Apparently, this dear friend also thinks I look more like a Judy than a Julie so the name stuck.  Besides, don’t authors sometimes use pseudonyms?

I cannot guarantee these posts will all be serious.  I cannot guarantee you won’t laugh.  I can guarantee you we are going to be sharing our personal experiences and thoughts so hang on for the ride.  Our hope is to maybe encourage you or if you know of someone going through a similar experience to share this with them. Sometimes going through challenges with someone who has been there is better than going it alone.  We also like to see others laugh so if you chuckle a time or two we have succeeded.  If you use this to help past the time while you are waiting for paint to dry then we are glad we could assist.
