My name i Stephen Wagstaff and I am the founder of SwagAbility. I am 46 years old and I've been in a chair for 27 years. I am a C-5 quadriplegic after a diving accident in 1996. My health has been stable for most of my wheelchair life, but this past January, things took an unexpected turn. I lost feelings in places where I previously had it. I lost strength and spent almost 6 months in the hospital fighting osteomyelitis and reoccurring bladder infections. Although life has been turned upside down, I still managed to push through by finding purpose and productivity. SwagAbility was born out of these trying experiences. So I say to you, if you're in a place of trials and troubles, look for something small that you can do productively. You will be surprised at how the human body thrives with purpose.
