And because this life journey we are on isn't crazy enough, we thought we would add two more canines to the mix. Yes, two!! We had planned to one day bring home another pal for Charlie as he aged, but when an unexpected meeting occurred, we decided to move up the timeline. What we didn't plan on was the heart-strings being pulled on by more than one furry rascal. Yes, I admit it, in a moment of weakness, I thought with my emotions not my brain! This has caused me many moments of tears and saying, "What did we do?". However, the sleepless nights, constant floor mopping, continuous cycles of laundry, training, and howling are all worth it when you sit down at the end of the day with your fur-child curled up in your lap or feel the little licks that say, "I love you". Huxley and Josie, first born and the runt. We can't imagine life without them. Just the beginning of another adventure.
