moving

Well, our newest adventure has been packing up our belongings and moving across the the river.  We have waved good-bye to Hartland (although we do return for groceries, post-office and doctors appointments) and waved hello to Victoria Corner.  If you are surprised, so were we!  Many of you know we have been trying to sell our house for several years, but were in no rush as it was just a want and we really had no where to go.  After a deal fell through in the fall we decided to just be content and we would look at things in the spring or summer.  However, it is generally in those moments when you least expect it that the Lord has other plans.  SURPRISE!!  In February a lady called and asked to view the place…Sure not a problem…She’s just curious because who buys a house in the middle of winter?  Well, five days later she put forth an offer and with a little tweaking, we settled on a one month moving date.  (Yes, this date came right after we returned from New York – I don’t like being bored!)

We know this is not by chance; the Lord knew, and we are so thankful that an apartment opened up right on the campus of NBBI for us to live in for a few months.  It is really nice to be so close to work and a blessing to be so close to the students.  We have already had a house praise and prayer meeting and we look forward to getting a few more in before the end of the school year.  Steve has a direct view of the guys dorm from our bedroom window so he can keep tabs on the gents!

So, where are we going from here?  We have absolutely no clue!!  Annnnnnnd that is great with us!  We know that it was only the Lord that could have orchestrated the sale of our house so we know and are fully trusting that He has our next spot picked out, we just don’t know when or where.  We do know, at this time, that we will need to be out of this place by August as there is a mature student planning to attend in the fall and will require this accessible unit.  So, in the meantime we pray and enjoy the moments before us.  Even if it is just for a few months, we know there is a purpose for us being in this place at this time.
